best mothorboard for gaming AND overclocking

Hi. I recently damaged my asrock z97 extreme 3 and i have been looking for a new mobo since. As the title suggests, i want a good one for gaming, overclocking in the future and sli (2×gtx970). If the mobo you suggest is blue, you could save me from swapping ram!

My best recommendation for a fairly priced blue schemed MoBo would be the Extreme6. It's great for OCing. Otherwise, Z97 OC Formula or Z97 Ranger/Hero or Z97X SOC are great alternatives for OCing. This list might help you:

Go for the msi z97 ski plus. Matched your colour scheme, good for overclocking and slip capable.

Thank you. Could you tell me what is the difference between gaming mobos and oc mobos?

They're just names given by their manufacturers. If you're in the right price range, you'll get gaming features (SLI ability) in OC MoBos and OC features (good quality chokes and phases) in Gaming MoBos. That list is accurate in listing them per their features and OCing ability.

And in the tier 1 class-b, when you say z97 pro, you mean asus z97 pro gamer?
