Ok just now, I've got an Asus A7N8X-e Deluxe mobo but as some of you may have read I've been having major problems with it crashing ALL the time, particularly when play HL2. It's apparently more of a compatability with the ram than anything else.
Before I sell my machine (and I don't want to stitch any one up with a dodgy product) I was wanting to change the mobo I've got, so, what in your opinion would you recommend in the way of the best n-force2 mobo around?
Cheers

Athlon xp3200+
1.5Gb Kingston hyper x 3200 8,3,3,2.5
ATi stock X800Pro
Seagate Barracuda 120Gb 7200 @133
Zalman Cu7000 cooler
Antec TruePower 480watt

All Nforce 2 boards have a reputation for being picky about RAM.
What kind do you have?
What is your processor?
Are you overclocking?
I have even seen VIA (Apollo) be somewhat picky.

The loving are the daring!

Flinx does have a point.

Do you have 3x512 modules of Kingston HyperX? If so, 1GB of your memory will be accessed in dual channel. It's also very picky about running with all three DIMMs populated at DDR400. First, try raising the memory voltage to 2.6V or 2.7V. Also, try using just one stick of memory and see what happens.

Yeah, I've got 3 sticks of 512 Hyper x 3200. I'll give it a go at 2.6v then 2.7 and see what happens. It seems to be notorious this board with ram??
Cheers again.

That RAM has problems with several boards:

Most nForce2 boards
Most Intel 875P chipset boards.

Any board that actually stresses the memory to it's full rated timings will have problems with that RAM, because it's rated "enthusiastically" (read, it's already at the ragged edge with slower chipsets).
