Excellent very informative and comprehensive article! I particularly liked the author's comments and advice on "go big" and allow for future expansion.

I built my system using EVGA 3-way SLI board and then switched to the E760 Classified board. I use a combination of BIOS settings as well as EVGA's E-Leet program to do my overclocking. Works well.

agreed - Gigabyte is incredible for newcomers to overclocking! Still, i gotta miss the good ol' days when drawing on ur CPU with a lead pencil was enough to unlock the clock multiplier 😉

Thank you for writing this article. As a first time builder I'm wanting to make informed choices of the equipment I want to buy. I'm looking forward to finding other articles like this one that will tell me more of what I need to know.

I have a Gigabyte MA790XT-UD4P Ultra Durable 3 Motherboard whit a AMD Athlon II 2.6'Ghz Quad-core Overclock to 3.0'Ghz Whit a V6 GT Cooler Master 6 Heatpipes Heatsink and 2X OCZ DDR3 2'GB 1333'Mhz dual channel Overclock to 1199'Mhz whit 2X Gigabyte HD 5830 Ultra Durable VGA's 800'Mhz GPU's and 1000'Mhz Memory on auto-clock CrossFired a 700W OCZ PSU and a 1'TB HD 7200'RPM on SATA3'GB\s runing on Windows 7 Ultimit 64bit all in a HAF 922 Mid-tower playing on a 42" HD LCD Toshiba PC Monitor.

I would like to know if mi tempetures are ok?
Motherboard: 35C With 10 case fan's
cores X4 25C
CPU: 30C fan: 800 RPM with V6 GT Heatsink
GPU1: 35C Fan: 1800 RPM with Dual fan Heatsink
GPU2: 37C Fan: 1900 RPM with Dual fan Heatsink

Is that good? What is the normal tempatures for dose parts

Normal temperatures are far higher, so your temperatures are exceptional.
