I happen to have a Maximus Formula SE with an Antec 900 case. I can't seem to be able to place the shield in the back of the case, and I've literally cut my finger a few times with the sharp little edges sticking out the shield. I've tried putting both, the shield that came with the motherboard, and the shied that came with the case but no luck. Is there an easy way to put it in place without causing any damage?

Please advise 🙁

oh god it sounds like deja vu w/ my build from august :|

Picked up Antec 900 (woohoo i thought)
Picked up EVGA 680i A1

The Shield that came with the actual case itself clearly wouldnt fit the Mobo..so i discarded it

The shield that came with the Mobo didnt want to stick in the case...i fiddle with it for about an hour..(managed to get a war wound or 2..freaking metal is sharp) Decided to go get 2 flat head screwdrivers...put them into the Shield..and wedged the shield into place..and gently tapped the screwdrivers until it was tight.

Thats how i did it :)
