Hi everyone,

I have around $2,000 to spend on a PC. I am a complete noob. I was going to try and build my own but the thing keeping me away is the lack of support. If I build my own and something goes wrong...who can I call? where is my customer support? I feel like I'd be out of luck...so I've decided to buy pre-built because these companies have customer support and warranties. That's really the main reason I am buying pre-built - lack of post build support (does this even make sense to worry about?).

What is the best pre-built gaming PC I can buy for $2,000 (I'm looking to play as close to 4K as possible - I'm not crazy about high frame rates so as long as it's stable I'm happy)? I visit all of the major pre-built sites...they all have PC's to buy, with all different parts...and I can't tell which is the best deal. They are using different motherboards, types of ram, etc.

If you had to buy a pre-built for $2,000 right now - what is the best deal on the internet? I will gladly payback anyone who is willing to help me with a $10 Amazon card or something similar.

Thank you in advance!

It's actually not that hard whatsoever! There are plenty of YouTube videos and readable guides on the internet that teach you how to do it: https://qwertyarticles.com/2014/11/13/how-to-bench-test-build-and-troubleshoot-your-computer/

As for the "who can you call" part, you have forums such as this one. :) People here to actively help and troubleshoot with you until the problem is resolved! Even someone like myself with years of experience, I just recently posted about troubleshooting my own issue and we figured it out.

I highly recommend you...

I highly recommend you reverse your decision to buy a PC instead of building one. You'll spend a lot less money too!

Even custom built PCs come with warranties. The parts themselves are often warrantied and come with support for about 3 - 5 years.
