Hi, I am looking to get a new gaming PC to play games like CSGO, COD, h1z1, ark, etc... Want to be able to run games at high fps and just have great overall performance. Also I want to do 144hz gaming bc my monitor supports it. So I have been saving and now I have 1600$ to drop on a beast system. I have been looking at the digital storm vanquish 3 level 4 but I'm not sure it's my best option. What do you guys think is the best thing I can get prebuilt for 1600$? Thx!! (And please don't suggest building myself bc it's not an option for me.)

I wouldn't recommend it. I wouldn't trust anyone with my parts that I spent if I was going to build and was inexperienced. XD

But that's just me. :)

In a prebuilt system you have to pay the cost of them assembling it themselves, and then a bit extra so they are making a profit and able to pay the person to assemble it. It is technically a "fair" price. But you are going to pay like 600$ of that 1600$ on their profit and the wage for someone to assemble it, and the rest on whatever parts the decide to put in. Anything over 600$ you can expect to pay a very large overhead cost for prebuilt, that is just how the market works. The ratio between cost spent on hardware, and overhead increases with price you are paying. I've seen like 60% overhead, 40% part cost on the really high end machines.

That is why everyone is VERY adamant about building high end gaming machines yourself. Low end desktops you can typically find decent deals though prebuilt.

You can google search the guys who build them, Alienware, Cyberpower, Origin I think still, there are plenty out there.

Not very much actually, apart from the difference in clock speeds/voltages (would affect performance but more often than not it would be very minuscule)

other than that it really comes down to personal preference of cards

ok but how could i get the parts assembled the only places i have that i know of is like best buy and what is the difference in brands with graphics cards? like whats the difference between msi 980, asus 980, gigabyte 980 etc. and which is the best?

Not bad, but I would rather go with Skylake.

Digital Storm was another choice when getting a desktop, but I found that they were a tad bit overpriced. CyberPowerPC, in my opinion, is a better alternative. :)

There is really no difference.

Some have better cooling, some have a higher clock speed, and some just look awesome.

Zotac has the highest clock speed out of all the 900 series cards... If that is still true; I think MSI's Lightning edition and one of EVGA's cards beat Zotac at higher clock speeds. :)

You would have to buy the parts individually; adding to the cart on sites and all that.

If you don't feel comfortable getting a local store to build a desktop for you, I completely understand. Custom is always a good choice if you do not have the time to build or don't know how to build. :)
