Best processor for under £100

The question says it all, really. I have a super strict budget; and I'm trying to pick between the athlon x4 880k, the amd fx 6300 and a used i5-4460 (friend's offering it for £90). Which one should I pick???

For gaming, video editing and rendering, go for the 4460 (that's a very good deal your friend is offering!). The CPU offers better single-threaded performance, more instruction per clock and subsequently better performance. Ask your friend if it will come with a heatsink (the stock heatsink is fine as it's a Non-K CPU).

Yes, he said it will come with all the original bits and bobs. I'm pretty sure he is upgrading his machine, that's why he is offering such a low price.

Yeah, you should be good to go. That's a solid choice; I use that exact motherboard in my HTPC (with a Pentium instead of an i5 CPU).
