Had to replace my motherboard and am getting a gigabyte ga-970a-ds3p fx (rev2.1). Wondering what would be the best ram to run with it. Would prefer it to be 16gb total at 1600mhz speed. As low cost as possible please.

Rest of specs cuz im pretty sure they matter in this somehow:
Cpu: AMD FX-8300
Gpu: EVGA Supercharged NVidia GeForce GTX 1060
Psu: Seasonic S12II 620 Bronze.

if you are familiar with overclocking, that kit would be nice.
since the weak point of the FX CPUs is "slow" memory controller and L3 cache, your goal is to get CPU NB to 2600 and overclock the RAM to 2200MHz CL12 or lower. should be no problem with this kit.
that will give you better performance then overclocking cores to 5GHz. after you done with memory controller, RAM and cache, overclock the cores.

I don't exactly know what to do to overclock a computer and honestly I'm more or less just learning as i go along. Right now I'd rather not deal with overclocking right now but thank you for the recommendation anyways. But you're saying that the ram sticks I found would be suitable cuz the ones that SR-71 Blackbirf found are like 150 on amazon and the ones i found are cheaper.
