[SOLVED] Best rams for Z390 Tuf pro gmaing ?

This is my mobo : z390 tuf pro gaming.

when i checked

i saw that the Corsair Vengeance RGB 2x8 cl15 3000mhz ..

is not supported the dimm 4 what ever that ( i dont know what mean )

so should i go for hyperX 2400mhz and save 50$ ?

is this affect my cpu speed or fps gaming ?

i use this pc for gaming :

i7 8700
z390 tuf gaming pro
16gb ram

dimm is name for RAM slots on MB's.


as per the page you linked:

• 1 DIMM: Supports one module inserted in any slot as single-channel memory configuration
• 2 DIMM: Supports one pair of modules inserted into either the A2 slots or the B2 slots that operates in a dual-channel memory configuration
• 4 DIMM: Supports 4 modules inserted into all slots as two pairs DIMMs operating in a dual-channel memory configuration



difference between 2400 and 3000 ram isnt gonna really be noticible on an intel cpu overall (if it was ryzen thats another story since it actually performs better wiht faster speed ram by a noticible amount)
