Hi everyone!

Im planning on replacing the original fans that is with the ml240l rgb AIO because one of the two fans are not spinning (but during boot up I can see that it tries to spin for a sec and will stop). I think it is defective and it is sad that I cannot use the warranty because the AIO came from the US brought by my aunt as a gift for me here in the Philippines. I have tested the defective fan in every way that I know (tried connecting it to different fan headers of my motherboard, see if there is any material keeping the fan from spinning, etc.) but the fan lights up when I boot the pc btw. I have installed this item two days ago and fresh out of the box, one radiator fan is defective I guess.

PS: masterfan pro 120 air balance creates too much noise. Shall I just buy another masterfan pro 120 air balance or shall I replace both of the fans?

Specs of my PC
Asrock ab350 pro4
Ryzen 51600x
Sapphire rx580 8Gb
Corsair bronze cx550m
San disk 120gb
1tb toshiba hdd
ML240L Rgb

Case Fan: Phanteks - PH-F120XP_BK 61.6 CFM 120mm Fan ($16.82 @ Newegg)

Well here's the gimmick. You only have the one fan running somewhat right, trying to cool a rad built for 2x fans. In order to do that, the rpm are going to get jacked up really high, which means noise. However, those mlpro balance are supposedly some of the quietest fans around.

On my nzxt x61 I'm running the stock nzxt fans, which many don't like saying they are loud, however, they don't spin up past 700 rpm, topping out at 900 under stress tests. Nothing like the older corsair excuses for fans that'll spin up 2800rpm and sound like a freight train in your pc.

There's plenty of decent fans for rads out there, many like the TT Ring, more for looks...

There's plenty of decent fans for rads out there, many like the TT Ring, more for looks than performance, the Phanteks are rated #1, Noctua close behind, (I have both, can't tell the difference) but the Noctua take some getting used to. Tan/brown clashes with everything, but can look good under colored leds.

So wants/needs should be part of the decision. You might just want to replace both (not cheap) and keep the ok fan for a spare, or even use it for rear exhaust, or use case fans on the rad and the 3x RGB as intakes. Up to you.
