Got the 850 Pro 128GB on sale for $88.00 with free shipping. Couldn't resist but I have to wonder how valid the 10 year warranty really is. I only spoke to Samsung Tech once, but they were very nice and polite. I also have the 840 EVO and the 840 Pro as well and they are all so fast that I can't tell one iota of difference between the bunch in the real world. Yes, my 850 pro is faster in benchmarks but that's about it.

Tomshardware should consider including PCI-E SSD's in their Best SSD's for the money article, instead of just including traditional SATA based SSD's, come 2015.

Where are the benchmarks for the m.2 sata? Most decent mobos have one, seems like an obvious choice for the increase in performance and smaller size.

Warranty its useless after your first replacement. First, they exchange the faulty drive but guess what, your second drive does not come with warranty anymore and thats when you say goodbye 10 year warranty. Its well known its just a marketing trick, I just purchased The samsung 840 evo for all my systems. its only 3 year warranty but im pretty sure in 3 years theres gonna be a whole new batch of ssd's.

Can you point me to where that is written? I feel a little bummed I got a 850 pro if the 10 warranty is just another marketing gimmick.

A 180GB INTEL 520 is a great deal you can find new OEM at great great prices, for a great performance, even better than KINGSTON HYPER FURY and more reliable with better prices... if you are a gamer or just hate HDD bottlenecks this is the way to go

The Kingston V300 needs a bid old footnote to state which revision was used in the testing (sync vs. async). The same is probably true with the Silicon Power entries since it looks like they may have been swapping out the SF-2281 for a Phison lately (check out the recent Amazon review comments).
