Best Suited Card?

Hey Guys,

I've been looking around the forum, And with alot of help from alot of friendly members, I've managed to get together a good looking build, but with AMD's new releases. I don't know what would be best suited for the build.

I am going to be using 2 1080p monitors. One DVI (sadly) And one HDMI.
Anyone know what would be suited for this build? I currently have a card in there suggested by another member.

My budget was around 1000£. But I'll spend more if needed

Depends, what will you be doing primarily with the rig, is this for general computing i.e. imaging, Video, CAD, VMs, that type of thing? (I ask because of the 32GB DRAM, if primarily for gaming, drop the DRAM to 16GB and use the savings to go to a 280X, 770 or somthing better on the GPU side

This rig is primarily for rendering and 3D work as well as adobe cs6 suite work.
If you have any other recommendations for the build that would be great too, all these new releases are far beyond my knowledge

I'd stick with what you have then and if possible jump up to a 280X, might look at the Asus CU TOP, great card, love mine

Not a lot where you can cut unless you'd go 4770K and a 1150 mobo, like the Asus Hero, that's what my sone just built on for a video/rendering build, those the EVO, 32GB of 2133/RJ X and has ordered a 280X (near same to my rig)

Due to your recommendation, Ive decided to go with the 280x, but which one is my dilemma haha, I currently have picked out:

The card itself is your choice, I generally look to Asus and then GigaByte for AMD based GPUs first, tehn if nothing there, then look at XFX and Sapphire, I don't use MSI products for builds due to their poor quality contol

Okay Thanks for the advice. Might go for sapphire, its about price for me at the moment.

Also helped that the site released a review the same day haha.

With my case being a Corsair 400R, Will this fit in? I was checking some videos last night and some of the cards were like 12 1/2 inches long!

Yep some big ones then Sapphire 100363L is shy of 10 1/2 inches and the higher clocked (1070) model 100363VXSR is just over 10 3/4 inches
