I wish these reviews would point out two things on the Logitech Brios

1. They use a very sticky attachment point. It's hard to pull loose, feel like it's going to eventually damange my laptop case
2. Which means it is best carried in it's box to keep from getting it stuck to your bag. The buyer --if they're going to use it it with a laptop-- better have a significant amount of free space in their bag.
3. The camera rotates *very* freely. if the cable can't be dropped straight down behind the laptop or there's any vibration in the environment, the camera is going to rotate off-center or jitter.

I'll admit, I'm not a big fan of the micro-suction pad for anything portable. While I've never felt like removing it would damage anything, it just doesn't seem like it's designed to be moved on and off of a monitor super frequently. When I've used webcams with this type of mount while traveling, I usually just leave the protective cover over the micro-suction pad and don't bother sticking it in place.

For what it's worth, the micro-suction pads are *supposed* to be cleanable with soap + water, but I will admit I'm pretty skeptical of how well that works. (I guess it works well enough as long as you let it dry before you try to stick it on something else, but I am very impatient LOL and I don't have that much foresight.) I either keep the protective covering or I cover it with a piece of tinfoil or plastic wrap (or something) when I'm traveling.

I haven't had issues with the camera rotating freely, though — which Brio are you talking about? I test webcams on both a desktop monitor and a laptop monitor to see what the main differences are, and I haven't noticed the Brios moving more than expected, though any webcam with a non-detachable cable is going to have more of an issue with this in general.
