i want to buy new pc and i wonder if i should buy 2 gen or 3 gen

vs
3 generation any of the new 3 gen

I don't do Intel, I always go for AMD, but I would go for the newer 3rd Gen, with PC parts I like to try and get the newest stuff I can that will fit in my price range and with my other components. Just remember anything you buy will be outdated before it reaches your door new stuff is always coming out, I try to not fall to far behind.
