Interplay ? Don't make me laugh. These guys weren't able to stay on surface even when they were working with Black Isle and Bioware and now they act as if they can create decent MMO game all by themselves and Bethsoft is the bad guy standing in their way. Mhm, right.

I'm a huge Fall Out fan. Played the original a long long time ago. Fall Out 3 is a great game, but it constantly crashes on my machine. Yes, I use Windows 7 64bit ver. SAVE OFTEN!!! never finished the game, I just got fed up with it.

Hmm Fallout 3 ran just fine win 7 rig and make sure you save often 8)

They fixed most of the problems I think they need to hire a few more game testers 8p

[citation][nom]NuclearShadow[/nom]So Bethesda does what any rational company does in our awesome capitalist world.... sue and harass in court![/citation]

I'm not sure if you meant that sarcastically or not, but you do realize that suing in court is the exact opposite of free market capitalism. It's using the government (the courts) to overturn the free market in your favor.

Using Windows 7 doesn't mean you met the hardware requirements at all for Fallout 3 or Oblivion - we were just using it as a point of reference, along with other hardware specs which actually help describe why one would have problems with a game. What kind of CPU were you using? What about your GPU?

If you had an older, single-core CPU and onboard or Intel integrated graphics, it should be obvious to you that any modern game would be buggy. If you're not aware of what a GPU is, that's your graphics card, and to play modern games you'll want a discrete PCI-e card.

Or perhaps you played it on a laptop with a weak GPU or none at all. There are many variables to determine your computer's "gamability", but just telling us you had Win7 doesn't really help us diagnose your problems.

@professorprofessorson

I agree with reggieray. Bethesda has made some of the best video games ever made
and many have from won numerous awards and have gotten rave reviews from game
magzine such as EGM, Gamepro, PC Gamer and even back in the day Computer Gaming
World or CGW for short. PC Gamer often features it on their list of the top 100 best games
ever made and so did CGW. Granted, these games are not for everyone and not everyone
will like them but they to me and others are just awesome games that you can play not only
for months but even years as well. Sure, they have bugs in them and that's what patches are
for. Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim and Fallout 3 are some of the bets games ever made
and so are the Terminator ones they made. Also look at the reviews on Gamespot, Gamestop
and Amazon for these games as well. Moslty positive reviews for them.

Bethesda are clearly idiot's... do they want to make money from a new fallout game or not? Have they been infected by apple or something?

Bethesda sucks. Either give them full use or none at all. Hey lets make a new called counterstrike but make it about puppies and rainbows.

Of course they want to make money off the game. Thats why they licensed it out to Interplay, so they could develop it while Bethesda focused on their other projects, most notably Skyrim. They knew Skyrim was going to be huge so they poured all of their resources into it, that's why they didn't develop New Vegas either.

Problem here is Bethesda thought Interplay was developing it, which is why they allowed them some freedoms with the material from FO3 and NV but they later found out Interplay simply licensed the development to a third party. Which is bad because now that team has free access to the inner workings of one of the best selling games Bethesda has created. Which as you can see, this is the reason they are in court. Anyone not behind Bethesda on this one is just dumb and cannot see what this is all about.
