Better fps in games

OK, so I have an Nvidia GeForce 8500 gt and 4 GB of RAM in my desktop. I like to play Minecraft, but it can be a bit laggy at times even with options and the settings low. But it is really playable. I am wondering if I get a Nvidia GeForce 560ti, will it increase my fps by like 20 or 30?

What are your cpu and power supply?

A 560ti would be a lot better than that 10 year old card, but your system might not be able to take it since it seems pretty old
