BF3 - EVGA GTX 560 Ti SC freezing

Hi,

I just built this computer. I installed BF3 and after 7-10 minutes my whole system freezes and I can't power down or exit, I have to manually power down. Happened many times, all modes of play, my temps were normal, nothing in event manager either. Installed latest drivers via geforce.com

Specs:

i5 2500k @ 3.3ghz
EVGA GTX 560 ti SC
ASUS P8P67 LE
Corsair hx650w 80+
G.skill ripjaws 2 x 2gb 1600mhz
Samsung spintpoint f3 1tb
Generic optical drive, mouse, and monitor
Motherboard soundcard

Also, my ram shows up in 3d mark as 800mhz, do I have to clock it to 1600mhz? If so how? It says 1648mhz in Bios.. does it mean 800mhz per gb?

I'm what is my BCLK? Where do I change my rams speed?

Base clock of what? My CPU? RAM? GPU?

Also try disabling Hyperthreading in BIOS it's under CPU features or advanced CPU features

Thanks! The BCLK thing fixed it and I got the EVGA drivers, thanks for the help. Still no idea how to set RAM lol

it says 800mhz as ram is dual channel, so 800 mhz showing is actually 1600mhz. should say in bios what ram clocked at

Like bfw said, DDR stands for double data rate. Which means, 800mhz RAM would be running at 400Mhz. Double it. Your RAM is running at it's full speed of 1600Mhz.
