BF3 Mod Tools?

Does anyone know any info on weather Dice/EA are going to release Mod tools for BF3 like they did for Bf2?
The only stuff i can find is from before the release date saying that they might consider thinking about it.

I really enjoyed the Mods that came for BF2. Sandbox, Wookie Sniper, AIX and Project Reality.

yeah that is what i heard as well, i was hoping that it would be old news. Guts bro.

But that is pretty much like saying "Our engine is too complicated for mere mortals"
