my pc configuration is as follows:
4gb DDR3
i3-2100
Asus 650ti
well i know my gpu is good enough to run BF4 at least in medium-high resolution but its clear that it gets bottlenecked because of my processor, i just wanna know how bad can it be that even at the following settings [LOW+1024x768] the game is unplayable? is it my configuration's problem or can it be solved without upgrade?

actually i am buying i5 3450 which in within my budget and yes i have my v-sync on but rest are set to Low, will turning v-sync off help? the way i see it, it doesnt matter which server i join, it just lags everywhere makes the game unplayable. your help will be really appreciated.

Turning off V-sync wil allow GPU to go faster when it wants to. The # of people on server matters but I still don't think that's the issue.

If you stay at that monitor, which I don't suggest, then the GPU is sufficient. However, once you bump up to 900p or 1080p you start to see why the game is amazing and the best.

Try reinstalling windows and reinstalling it. I even had this problem before. I simply just unistalled windows and boom constant 50+ fps

Absolute last resort. I would never recommend that.

Well actually the native resolution of my monitor is 1600x900 but with that resolution the game is more than unplayable so I set the resolution to 1024x768 but still it doesn't help. I tried turning vsync off I have no idea whether it worked or not. And I format my HDD every other day so reinstalling is not a solution for me. And I have already tried both 8 and 8.1 doesn't help either 🙁

I use fraps and afterburner for making videos, taking screen shots and all that. Like you guys suggested i have made videos of both single player and multiplayer but i just cant figure out a way to upload it here in this forum so that i can share it with you guys. Can anyone tell me a process?

Post it on youtube then provide the link. Don't ask me how though. I never uploaded a video to youtube.
