BF4 is lagging

Hey I just bought BF4 yesterday and installed and downloaded the update last night.

When I started playing it in campaign, it lagged so much :/

When I started playing it in campaign, it lagged so much :/

it was on ultra so i reduced it to high and it's lagging again.

so i went to medium and it's fine and when i start killing the enemies, it lagged again and again.

when i put it to low, it's lagging again!

my pc has:
Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2ghz
8GB RAM
GTX 650 1GB GDDR5

PS I play at a res of 1440x900

650 is your problem. It is not really good enough to play at ultra.

Put it on medium to high settings, and record your fps. I'll help you with that info.

okay i got it.
minimum: 2
average:40-50
maximum:64

the problem is, fps is dropping too much (like from 54 going straight down to 2)

and that's for both medium and low settings.

Sorry, it was late. Ok, your FPS does drop pretty low. I had this problem and my computer is awesome 😀

Try doing a thing called unparking your CPU cores. Just google how to unpark cpu cores and look at a youtube video.

After that. try the game at medium, then high, if you can...

i unparked the cpu already. and how come it only runs 4 cores? i was expecting that it would show up to 8 though :/
