BF4 is lagging

Hey I just bought BF4 yesterday and installed and downloaded the update last night.

When I started playing it in campaign, it lagged so much :/

it was on ultra so i reduced it to high and it's lagging again.

so i went to medium and it's fine and when i start killing the enemies, it lagged again and again.

when i put it to low, it's lagging again!

my pc has:
Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2ghz
8GB RAM
GTX 650 1GB GDDR5

your GPU is the problem, only 1 gb of vram wont do it for BF4 i guess...also the power of the gpu is pretty weak. You should consider inversting in a new better graphics card provided that your powerspully is up to the task...

nope, not at a 1920x1080 (1080p) resolution, you will need to tunr off AA and lower some settings to high or medium to get playable framerates in multiplayer matchups...if possible id recommand at lest an r9 270 or even a gtx 760 if possble...if price is really an issue a r7 265 can be found around the same price as the 750ti but performs better and support sli...now, what powersupply (psu) do you have in your system?

at1440x900 a mix of high and ultra with no aa shoul get good fps ..but if you can find gtx 660 or radeon r7 265 around the same price they both perform better then a 750ti...

well, like i said, i play at 1440x900. well i think my psu is a bit of a overkil but i got a 650w psu which comes out that it has no 6 or 8pin power connector. :/

why? because, my psu is just a generic one. the one that's bundled with the case? yes.

oh. okay. so what gpu will max out bf4? remember, i'm slightly budgeted, you know. :/

at 1440x900 a radeon r9 270 or r9 270, or nvidia gtx660 or 660ti would max it out...a 760 would be overkill at this resolution but would allow for more futureproofing...but honestly if you dont plan on upgrading your monitor to a 1080p display anytime soon you could look for a radeon r7 265 or gtx750ti as those will still run the game beautifuly with high/ultra settings...im pretty sure you would be pretty happy with those as well they are all much better then what you currently use...

i meant r9 270x for the second card, sry and i cant edit im writing from wiiu and the edit option is not available...but honestly if i where you i would search for the r7 265 with the best price possible...this card performs about 12% better then a 750ti and i beleive it would pretty much max out bf4 at 900p specially with mantle..

how come that you'd say that the gtx 760 is an overkill?

for bf4 at 900p it will run ultra and beyond with like 100fps...its overkill in that it would be even too much for what you need to run the game on ultra...if you could afford such a gpu it would be good cause it would last you a longer time before you upgrade again...
