I'm not sure if there's a technical term for what's going on with my system, so I wasn't really that good at going through the threads. Here's the gist of my problem.
I just got a new system (spec details below). When I'm watching videos with Realplayer or Windows Media after a while the video portion gets scrambled like I'm watching some encrypted message. The rest of the desktop is fine, just the video display portion (was hoping to attach a camera picture later). I'm actually fine when I'm playing games like Mass Effect, Never Winter Nights 2, World of Warcraft, the only game I'm having trouble with is Half-Life 2 in which it does the same as the video. If I don't shut down the machine within 20-30 seconds, the whole system beeps a few times then freezes....no BSOD or anything, just freezes. I've contacted the BFG support but they have yet to respond to my email (will call them later).
Anyone know what's going on here?
Mobo: Asus P5N-T
RAM: 2GB Corsair
Video: BFG GeForce 9800 GT
PSU: Corsair TX750W
External Devices: 3 HDD (2 IDE & 1 ATA), 1 DVD
KB: G15 Logitech
Mouse: MX1000
Hope that's enough information for people.
