Could someone tell me which is better XFX Geforce 7800GS 256MB AGP eXTreme Edition OR BFG GeForce 7800 GS OC 256MB GDDR3 TV-Out/DVI (AGP) - Retail (GX-016-BG) :?:

thanks for your time.

xfx extreme is way overclocked compared to bfg, and it doesn't come at greater cost. you can find one on ebay for like $330. get xfx

edit: the overclock is like 10% higher... 400 to 440

BFG 100%. It comes with good software; an example would be the program that lets you float disc images on your computer so you don't have to put in the installer disc for games like BF2 and CoD2. BFG is also a better company....and that is a fact!

BFG more respectable their cards dont die becasue of th elower clock and thats why they are reliable bu tgo for eVGA they ar einbetween

also all u ppl that say BFG has a lifetime wranty

all nvidia cards have lifetime warranties

When getting a card, I suggest you check out their warranty policy.
For Me, I like EVGA because of their card and their warranty.

EVGA Lifetime Warranty

The lifetime warranty is valid for the life of the retail product, so long as the original purchaser owns the product, based upon the following conditions:

-Lifetime Warranty is for all retail Graphics Card and Mainboard products ending in the part numbers AX, DX, or FX
-There is no physical damage to the PCB, GPU/chipset, or components

It is as simple as that.
FOR AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER OWNS THE CARD
If your card does happen to have a problem years from now and it is no longer made you will be substituted with a comparable card at that time.
Yes you can overclock
Yes you can change the cooling
Yes you can add a waterblock
Yes you can flash the Bios
So long as you don't cause any physical damage to the PCB, GPU or components you will have Warranty on the card.

All of the above questions have been clarified long ago on the EVGA Messageboards www.evga.com/community

u r right man it has life warrenty but the truth is all big geforce cards sux. xfx rulez. always nsist on XFX
All big GeForce cards suck? So you're saying you would rather have a puny 5200 than a 7900GTX, which is massive? Listen to mpjesse and take your stupid red text out of here plz, kthxbye.

XFX has a lifetime warranty too, in case no one knew that. Heck, almost all card companies have them nowadays.

Don't argue with him. That's the same idiot that said X850XT Platinum suck and that he put it on 1.9Ghz HT Pentium? , 128 ram and some ancient parts or something. Oh, did I mention that he is a wigger who tries to be black?
