Question BFV mouse issues

What's up all,

I'm trying to play some bfv, but having some issues. I've had the game for awhile not and am finally returning to finish the campaign. It was working fine previously.

My issue is no mouse buttons. Mouse movement is fine and in menu the buttons work. In game, nada. Movement ok, buttons nothing. Hard to play when you can't shoot stuff, lol.

Corsair harpoon rgb, icue and drivers all up to date. I've tried to reset key controls. Repaired game file via origin. I uninstalled last night and will reinstall this evening to try again, but if that fails, any clues as to what's happening? I've done a few searches and came up empty handed.

It's possible BF has had an update since last played and added more key functions and reset the lot?

There'd be a reason why it says key is already assigned. I assume you have different key binding pages for ground, vehicles and air? Try look for the key it reckons is already binded.

Yeah I guess that's possible. I do have it set on auto update, and have seen it update a few times while doing other stuff.

I reset all bindings to default, and prior I never changed anything. So it's so odd to me that stuff just randomly changes. The whole situation was weird. There was no button to fire weapon or aim. I tried pushing everything.

Redownloading now. See if a fresh install repairs it.

Other than updating iCue, not that I can remember. It was also only in BFV, everything else I've been playing has been working fine. I have messed around in the software, but only for my keyboard not the mouse. Of course it had to be BFV, the only game I've ever had issues with, also the only game where my cpu "stuggles". I get some dips in fps, from 90 down to 60ish @1440p. Still not conplaining though. I've had to reinstall a few times for random crashes, and failed updates.

Thanks for the help, appreciate it!

Yeah, BF is known to be a cpu hog, especially at higher frame rates where the cpu still needs to work at preparing frames for the gpu.

If it's only BF, it's gota be how key bindings is done.

After reinstalling the game did binding shoot (mouse 1 i assume?) still give the option to change the binding? Did you try changing it?

Try mouse 2 or one of the side buttons or keyboard button to see what happens

You're definitely binding mouse buttons in the mouse column and mouse 1 wasn't assigned in that slot for shoot. What happens if you bind mouse 1, go to a different menu then go back, is it still binded? Try exit to main menu then go back to where you set mouse 1, see if it's still set. Could be the cfg file somehow set to read only?
