Question BIOS and Windows Installer not detecting M.2

Mobo: ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus
Storage: Sabrent Rocket NVMe 4.0 M.2 SSD

This is a new build, I've inserted my M.2 into the correct slot and booted into the mobo. The mobo does not see any storage devices. I then put Windows 10 installer on a USB, and executed from that. The installer does not see the storage either.

I updated my BIOS to the latest version (1405), no difference.

What else could I be missing?

By correct, you placed the SSD on the top most M.2 slot? Which processor are you working with? Also, stating that you're on the latest BIOS, try and remove the CMOS battery for at least 15 minutes and then replace it. See if you get to BIOS and the device is recognized.

Have you tried taking the SSD to a donor system to see it's not a DOA item?

For added measure, list your specs like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
