So I have an Asrock Z77M on my computer which refuses to show display whenever a GPU is connected to it. I got an Asrock B-75 Pro 3 from a friend of mine which does not boot and he claims it's because of the BIOS chip which has one of it's 8 pins broken. I also have a BIOSTAR B-75 MU3B which works but gives me blue screens so I changed it to my current Z77M.
I was about to order a BIOS chip from ebay when I saw a BIOS Chip ad there which claimed to be compatible with both the B-75 Pro 3 and Z77M motherboards. So I am wondering if it is possible to use the BIOS chip of H77M or Biostar B75 on the Asrock B75 .. It would be very convenient considering the estimated delivery time is more than a month in Greece. I did a fair amount of google searches but have not concluded on a reliable answer on the matter nor did I try to swap because of fear of bricking the working mb. Can u offer your insight on the matter?

The replacement BIOS chip needs to be the exact same model as the one that is actually used in the motherboard in order to work.

Found a website where you can order such chips:

They look the same model as well, but I can never be sure. You may want to ask the vendor if they're the same.
Link the BIOS chip you found on e-bay for everyone to see.

The vendor even offers pre programming the BIOS Chip to the current BIOS version, which is convenient.

The BIOS-Chip will be programmed with a current BIOS version after you have made the purchase. If desired, a different BIOS version can also be programmed.

Note: Make sure you go to the support page of these motherboards first and determine the BIOS version that you want to flash onto these chips for use.

Then all you need to do is know the how-to to replace (If you don't have experience yet):

And recommended to watch several videos of BIOS replacement or better yet, a video of the boards that you will be replacing your BIOS with before trying.
