Question Bios Grayed Out

Out of the blue, and I have had this PC for no more than 45 days now when I go into the BIOS to make some changes or no changes at all, and I hit F10, the entire Bios section grays out, and the only way to get out is to reboot. I have not had this issue until today. Can someone give me a workaround or at least explain to me why this may be happening?

Make and model of your motherboard and the BIOS version?

Dell BIOS does this if you have a password on the BIOS and have not entered it. You can look but not touch.

It's not a Dell. It's MSI, and it started doing this out of the blue.

As above. This happens when a password has been set on the BIOS and not entered upon entering BIOS. This does not happen on its own. Site rules do not allow any assistance in these cases as we cannot verify that you are actually authorized such access.

Okay, I can understand why you can't tell me. But if it were password-protected, wouldn't it ask me for said password when entering the Bios?

Not necessarily. Dell BIOS doesn't ask until you actually try to make a change. Others (HP) do stop and ask beforehand. There are no hard fast rules there.
