BIOS power option?

hi ppl
need a little help here, i am using DP45SG and i am getting a very weird problem
the problem i am faciing right now is when i completely shut down the system even Turn Off the main power from the switch board and when i on the power from the switch board, my system starts automatically even i didnt touch the power button on my casing to make it ON. i dont have a clue whats going
please help me out really appreciate it

something is not ready to shut down.
a new board has some excuses, but it should stop doing this...
any changes in the bios can do this...

try holding button down for 5 seconds. if it keeps doing it, check for shorts.

Are you saying your computer restarts automatically after you shut it down? That can be caused by a BIOS setting called "Wake on PME" or a couple of other similar "Wake on" options. They're usually under a Power Management heading. Turning those all to disabled will likely stop any apparently random rebooting.

Also, if you just built this system recently, I would see if you can fool whoever you bought it from into giving you a refund for the motherboard and buy a different brand. The DP45SG sucks unless you want to run everything at stock settings and more likely than not run into RAM compatibility issues regardless. It's one of the few boards I've run into that simply WILL NOT RUN a wide segment of the DDR3 that's available, regardless of whether you try to set the voltage and timings yourself. That board belongs in a pre-built computer, or in the garbage can.

In the BIOS Power Option, the settings are on last state after power fauiler, but the problem i am facing is right now, i completely shutdown the system and turn off the power from main switch board, but when i Turn ON the power back from switch board my CpU Turn ON's automatically even i didnt touch the power button on Casing to Turn it ON so i can i resolve this issue?

Again, the first place I would look is the BIOS -- it sounds like you're looking at the wrong option. There should be a series of several options called "PME Wake", "LAN Wake", "PCI Wake," "USB Wake" and possibly more. But they should all have "Wake" somewhere in the name. Those should all be off to avoid this problem. Basically, what they do is start the machine up if they get a signal from any of a number of inputs -- for example, if you're connected to a router and it pings your system, it'll turn the machine back on. So see if you can find them -- they're in there somewhere -- and turn them all to disabled.

Alternatively, this could be an indication that the front power button itself is hooked up incorrectly to the motherboard, or is faulty and is constantly or intermittently sending a "power on" signal. But I would try the BIOS first, as faulty power switches are far less common.

yes that the main problem i am facing right and as u have told i have thoroughly chk each and every option on the power option they r all disable every wake option is disable

No power switch is connected properly cos if i change the option to Stay Off in power failure the system remains still off it wont boot up automatically like on Last State or Power ON options
