I have dell Inspiron 1545 laptop with Windows7 OS. Whenever I turn it ON, BIOS set up screen comes with beeps. When click on "Load defaults", same BIOS set up screen again comes. Escape also doesn't work. The only way with which I can see my Windows screen is, press F12 for boot while turning ON & on Boot screen press escape, then it leads me to windows screen. How can I avoid it?

Hey again,

The two beeps usually indicate that your RAM is not detected (this is the most usual problem). You could open the case and try to remove and re-seat the RAM sticks and try to restart the system. If that does not help, try the other slots one at a time, with each memory stick that you have and keep restarting to see if the problem is in one of the RAM sticks or slots. If not, the problem might be in the MOBO.
Keep me posted on how this is going,

Hey there Rasmita,

Those *beep* sounds are actually an error code, indicating some kind of failure. For example, with Dell computers, one beep and then two short beeps indicate that the Video Card cannot be detected.
Could you please describe what type of beeps do you hear during initial start-up?
Also, if there are any error or other messages, could you please write them here?

I am getting 2 beeps with same pitch & of same duration. No error message is coming.
