Yesterday morning, everything was fine, but today I can’t change any BIOS settings at all. When I disable Secure Boot, it automatically re-enables itself. When I change the boot order, save and exit, the changes are not saved. I have no idea what’s causing this issue.
I suspect that downgrading the BIOS version might fix it. However, on MSI motherboards, the “BIOS Downgrade” option is disabled by default, and even if I enable it, since that i can’t save the changes, making it useless.
When I try to downgrade using AFUWIN, I get the error: “18 - Error: Secure flash ROM verify fail”
Also tried to reset bios with little hole on the back of the laptop. I saw it resets csom so i tried but didnt really help.
I’m about to lose my mind. I’d really appreciate any help.
