[SOLVED] BIOS update

I want to upgrade my PC and buy a Ryzen 7 3700x and a Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite Motherboard but according to PC Part Picker, it says that I need to update the BIOS from that motherboard and that I need an older CPU that is compatible with the BIOS version that is installed on that motherboard. Is there anyway for me to update the BIOS without using another CPU?

Yes there is. You can go buy the MSI B450 tomahawk max and you won't even have to update the bios.

If you buy the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX but not the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK (that's the regular one) it WILL be ryzen 3000 ready. Here:

And in pcpartpicker it says it MAY need a BIOS update. You can ask whoever you want if you don't believe me. The tomahawk max doesn't need a BIOS update. Make sure it's the MAX version though, not the regular one.

Maybe, maybe not. It was on sale on Black Friday though, you could have picked it up then. And if it is on sale don't expect anything crazy, I'd expect it will be 10$ cheaper.
