Solution
I think the only way to help this problem would be to eliminate as many background processes as you possibly can before you play as you unfortunately do not have an overclock-able CPU.

Other than that you will have to upgrade your CPU if it is bothering you that much.


I would just stick with the mobo you have and get the i5 8600K, make sure you get the K version, which means it is overclockable.
 
How is he going to put an 8600K on a B250 motherboard, and how is he going to overclock on a B250 motherboard? Maybe I'm missing something but I'm super confused as to where this advice is coming from and it looks like the conversation went kind of off the rails.

@OP are you still on windows 7 or are you on windows 10? There's something weird going on, you shouldn't be running at base clock when your CPU is only in the 50-55C range.

I got a budget of around 400-450 Pounds for a CPU and Motherboard if you guys could help me out
