Black patches on lcd screen!!!

anyone knows what caused those patches on my lcd monitor? it is benq g900w...

Best guess is your panel is dying. Those black patch generally means those pixels have stopped working. Streaks of off-colors means 1 or 2 of the 3 sub-pixel have died.

Looks like it's time for a new monitor.

thanks for the reply... if i continue to use this monitor for around another month, would it affects my other hardware?
btw, this is not caused by my graphic card, am i right?

The monitor will not affect your hardware.

I really doubt the graphics card is the cause. I've seen some screen outputs of bad video cards (like one of my own) and they don't act like that. You can always check by:

1) Install your video card in a friend's PC.
2) Install a friend's video card into your PC.
3) Connect the monitor to another video card.
