I was prompted while launching cod mw for the first time that I should update my gpu driver (I've had this pc for only slightly under a month) but after I clicked install, the screen went black and hasn't come back since, I waited about 10 minutes then began trying to use other recommended fixes such as try hdmi and displayport, use cpu display, yet none of these worked.
I've powered off and on my pc and all I have still is just a black screen, the fans and rgb are working on all my pc parts yet I can't even get to bios.
CPU: Ryzen 7 3700x
GPU: EVGA geforce rtx 2070 super
MOBO: B450 tomahawk max

Like we mentioned, you d'better visit a PC service technician. Seriously.
Sorry, but it just ain't always the cheap way.

The most chance is, that your motherboard has a problem, most likely irreversible, at least not possible to fix with the easy and conventional methods. If only you had a second way to reset your bios...but u don't have a jumper. I think some motherboards have a substitute of it, though, something like a button-like thing on the motherboard instead. But I still cannot imagine how would the bios be directly affected by a gpu update installer.
The PSU is of high quality, but ofc it may also be the reason.
The other thing that comes to my mind is the processor...but why. The chance is almost the same...
ok will try removing both storages
Should I keep gpu in or out for my first try
I doubt without will work as I don't even think the monitor recognizes when it's plugged in the mobo

I know how I would deal with such a situation, but in my country it is full of cheap PC parts.

As for the other components, if they were with the main problem, things would already have started to work by now.
Forget about the hdd, the nvme and the gpu. Even if they had a problem, you would have reached at least the bios 100 times by now. You can try to run the system with a cheap video card on the pcie slot, but this also has a low chance to work.
The drivers you install do not lock themselves onto the motherboard, but they go to the storage instead. Correct me if I am wrong.

Please tell me what they do for you I'm having the same issues 🙁
I downloaded the latest bios on a usb from my laptop, changed the 360 file to “MSI.ROM” then only put the rom file on a usb, none of the other files the bios gives you. I then simply put the usb in the correct port and flashed bios, it’s also worth noting I had to use hdmi to see display at first but this was later fixed

Such a complicated thing. That's why i told u to get specialized technical support, this is not a thing regular users would think about.

Yea but luckily the person who helped me and told me to do that, I just randomly bumped into them on an unrelated Instagram post so I didn’t even have to take it anywhere

Flashing? What?
You can reset bios without reaching it
The ways are usually CMOS battery removal, after this-back, and a jumper, with which we deal the same way.
As for updating bios, why would we talkin 'bout it if u can't reach it?
