Hey there. New to the forums, sorry to bug you guys with a question for my first post, But some insight would be amazing! Struggling pretty heavily with my depression, here lately gaming has been my getaway. However, my PC has different plans. The machine runs very well for its age when It does run. Ive been playing a lot of Destiny 2, at first the PC seemed to handle it well. It still does, other then when it crashes. About 6 minutes into a game, itll crash, to a black screen, my monitor will say "no input" and the PC will boot back up, fans and all boot back up fine, however the screen never comes back on, I do get sound though, I can hear the windows boot up sound, but still no input on my monitor. Its like the GPU never boots back up with the rest of the machine. It takes a complete shutdown via holding the power button, then turning it back on and the display GPU will then come back online with the machine. There are no errors in the event viewer other than one saying the "shutdown was unexpected". I do however have a log of hwinfo64 of me starting up D2 and playing till the machine crashes if that will help any of you. Now ..nothing in this machine has ever been overclocked. Ever. Stock clocks on everything.
Things Ive tried, New monitor via displayport.
New displayport cable.
Clean install of GPU drivers.
New PSU.
Inside of PC and all components as well as coolers are spotless.
Making an agressive fan curve just incase.
Making sure all connectors are in good shape and plugged in fully.
Reseating GPU and RAM.
GPU temps never go above 60c and CPU temps stay below 70c.
Specs-
Ethnoo phantex pro full size case/tower
Fx8350 Processor
Asus strix 4GB rx470
Asus M5a78l mplus MOBO.
(Less than a month old)EVGA Bronze 600w PSU.
16 GB gskill ripjaws ram.
Monitor is an acer ED320QR w/ freesync.
Im at a loss, machine has been great up until this point. All components were bought new never used 1 year ago from a neighbor who was a PC guy but was moving, other than the case. I know the EVGA PSU isnt the best and that the mobo is probably not the best for an fx8350(I have a m5a99fx mobo on the way).

That MB has too weak VRM, I'm surprised it even worked at all.
Maybe try underclocking CPU a bit until new MB comes.

Thank you so much, I figured as much. Its probably because I never really you know, seriously gamed on it until recently. Surprisingly it worked very well. Until it didnt I guess. A friend built it for me, so at the time I wasnt made aware the mobo would be too weak for this. Thank you again, so much for the reply!
