I formatted my computer and re-installed Windows after a USB error blue screen. Also put in a new hard drive (Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive) after everything is done. Everything seemed fine for awhile then my screen goes black at random moments. I can be gaming then it locks up or doing nothing intensive at all. Sometimes it is fine for a day or locks up after I enter my password. This happened a couple times but when I am running things with sound, there would be a buzz coming out of my speakers when it goes black. So far I uninstalled and re-installed graphics drivers, ran memtest and everything is fine, and bought a new hdmi cable. What I noticed is if I reinsert my ram or graphics card, it seems to buy me time before it locks up. I am starting to think it is my mobo or psu. It might even be the new WD HDD I put in because I can hear it buzzing really loud if I don't remove the panel from the side of my case. Here are my specs if it helps.

AMD FX-6300 3.5GHz 6-Core Processor
Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard
Kingston Blu 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Seagate Barracuda 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive
Zotac GeForce GTX 970 4GB Video Card
Zalman Z5 ATX Mid Tower Case
Antec Basiq Plus 550W 80+ Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply
Microsoft Windows 7 Professional SP1 (OEM) (64-bit)

Hey there, jkokopuff!

I'm really sorry to hear about the issues with your computer and the WD Blue HDD! :(
However, the buzz you hear from it shouldn't be there at all. This is not a good sign, so I suggest to backup the data from the WD Blue ASAP!
This can be an indication of a physical damage on the drive, so I'd suggest to run WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics tool: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=4ckQOD
Run the quick and extended test on it and check what is WD Blue's health and SMART status.
Since it's a new drive, it should still be in warranty so you should contact our tech support and let them know about the issue.
You should be able to RMA it and get a replacement.
