Don't play MMO's! It'll ruin your life. I've heard of people getting into divorces because of World of Warcraft. When i was playing Wow i use to go to work late because of staying up late from playing Wow. I got fired because of it. Basically i wasted 5 years on playing Wow and what did i get out it? Nothing! Stick to FPS games or anything that doesn't require grinding or weekly raids. Especially if your in High School or College i don't recommend any kind of MMO for you. It'll mess you up.

MMO's or anything massive online that requires grinding is like a drug. You'll get addicted to it and later on you'll realize how much time you wasted. Plus $15 a month is not worth it.

"Lets just hope that Titan will at least support multi-gpu systems. "

i got a nice fr boost installing the second 5770 - works for me 😛

@Flameout I doubt you'll read this, but a very similar game to homeworld came and went. It was an MMORTS called time of defiance. The company that made the game has made another, extremely similar title but it doesn't seem to take place in space. I tried ToD, it wasn't bad.

:hello: I propose to cancel all MMOs, and give people a brake :pt1cable: . Start working on rts Warcraft IV + 5 expansions and then rts Warcraft V with 5 more expansions. And only then revive those MMOs.

Blizzard: :pfff:

Well, the fact that they've supposedly moved their star developers over to Titan would explain the piss-poor quality of Cataclysm and 3.3.5 Wrath... I'm looking at you, abysmal voice-acting, among many other complaints much more major!

3.3.5 was about as good as wrath got while cata sucks frank and beans. pvp sucks, the raiding sucks, it is to easy for nab nuggets to easily gear up while older players are given the shaft. Over all wow is more or less liquid crap compared to what it used to be. Mind you that is coming from someone who used to play all day to only logging to keep an eye on things on my favorite realm. I hope this new mmo is worth because if this keeps up they will lose what they have and be stuck with a possible failure of the new mmo. It isn't about graphics even though they are nice when present but it is actual gameplay that counts. I also hate how the older players are often pushed aside for snot nose brats.

I was born in '78 and have played video games most of my life... I beta tested Ultima Online and Everquest... and played Final Fantasy online for a while when it came out for 360... make no mistake about it... I absolutely LOVE video games... they're fun... I love video games... but, in this day and age, in America... we're falling behind other countries... we need to develop video entertainment that progresses our children's intellectual development in addition to their motor skills... there are some small examples of this, but it's not enough... simulation is getting to the point where virtual environments can become more than just games... it can teach our children how to succeed where our generations have failed... and, if the products are not heading in that direction, then, they are becoming more and more of a waste of time...

They're making it sound like this is going to be a game for little kids, or tailored for females or something. Don't know how else it wouldn't compete with WoW. And that would definitely blow my mind.

"On the business end, that makes perfect sense: why move the herd from one farm to the other when you can earn twice the revenue with two farms and two herds?"

Good choice of words. Blizzard MMO customers are nothing but mindless sheep to be sheared.

[citation][nom]Anomalyx[/nom]I'm guessing they'd have just released Diablo III version 1.10 by now, meaning everyone would have their characters nerfed so badly that they'd need to start entirely over. (any Diablo II vets here that played version 1.09 or prior?)[/citation]
I think you are mistaking Diablo III for Diablo II. Diablo III hasn't been released yet, so it's not even 1.0. At this point it's most likely around 0.89 - BETA. Yes, I am a "Diablo II vet" that was playing before version 1.10. I had some really killer characters but version 1.10 made the game much more difficult and not as fun so I quit.

don't blame other people for your lack of self control...

You missed the point he was trying to make.

Agreed. In the time it takes them just to support a year of WoW, let alone new MMO development / expansions, they could be releasing hit non-MMO games at a rate of probably one every 6 months. I want to see quicker releases of Diablo/StarCraft/Warcraft versions/expansions.

Blizzards blows and their mind-blowing new MMO will blow in the wind for 10 years before they finally deliver a product. Blizzard is like bad government - slow, plodding, and ultimately, disappointing.

BTW - where is Diablo III? What a joke.
