[citation][nom]gsxrme[/nom]Everyone already knows Destiny from Bungie, which is owned by Activision Blizzard is the new Project Titan. Blizzard has just been throwing the "Nope, Nada, No way" stick at us for to long. TITAN = DestinyI'm very excited[/citation]
It's funny that you mention that. Awhile back Blizzard hired some ex Ensemble devs who had worked on the cancelled Halo MMO, which was also codenamed Titan. There were even some rumors then that Blizzard's Titan was a Halo MMO. So, Bungie makes Halo, Ensemble works on a cancelled Halo MMO codenamed Titan, Ensemble Devs go to Blizzard to work on Blizzard's Titan, Bungie makes an unheard of deal with Activision, Bungie and Blizzard work on Destiny together. That's some tin-foil hat stuff, but it'd be pretty funny if it was true.

E-sports and MMO don't sound like a good fit, unless the sport is you and X other random players hunting each other for sport...

I would never invest time or effort into a "sport" (player vs player competition) where I must rely on others, with people I don't know IRL. Its bad enough dealing with the "Leroy Jenkins" people already playing MMO's.

With Blizzard now catering to a young audience I don't see this going over well. Responsibility comes with age and maturity, and personally I would not want to play in any type of competition either for or against people who don't take it somewhat serious.

Imagine your in the NFL, but instead of playing against NFL teams all the time you randomly play against a special olympics team... This isn't fun for the NFL players as they basically walk all over their competition and feel like they just wasted X minutes/hours picking up the ball and walking 100 yards in a strait line, but it is still fun for the special olympics kids...

"Blizzard style graphics" - I'd rather see more realism
"Jay Wilson" - I like Jay but umm.... well I guess everyone deserves a second chance.
"Porting your charactor" - Oh, shit ya. Does that morph me into some other type of appropriate race?
"Bridge its Warcraft and Starcraft universes" - Cool, a Dwarf space marine?

OH, wait, what if you could time travel BETWEEN WoW and Titan? Take a "Wormhole" between Azeroth and Titan's world and back interchangebly? Pay a Titan subscription, get WoW access free? Space Marines fighting dragons? Elves fighting Zerg?

I take it you've never checked out Warhammer40k? There's books, tabletop games, computer games, etc...and it's where Blizz got their ideas and imho much cooler than Starcraft and Warcraft worlds.

[citation][nom]heero yuy[/nom]blizzard style graphics?you mean completely out dated because they cannot be bothered to get around to using/building a new engine that can deliver better graphics without needing as much computing power?everything I have played recently of blizzards (diablo 3 wow mists of pandaria) looks and plays like arse on the highest settings compared to other more visually impressive and intense games (for your information I have a 7970 clocked to ghz edition speeds (its not a ghz edition) 8gb of corsair vengeance (1600 MHz) and an i5 2500k overclocked to 4.8 ghz - wow and diablo 3 should not play like arse on that sort of system)[/citation]

Sounds like Driver and/or Overclock stability issues. My i5-2500k @4.1Ghz, Radeon HD6870 1GB, 8GB RAM (now 16GB, but when I played Diablo it was 8GB) ran at 1920x1080 maxed settings just fine. I actually turned off AA at limited it to a max of 60fps so that my card didn't even have to run at full speed (observed right in Catalyst Control Center).

Only lag I got was at one part on Bridge of Korsic(?) in Act III, and it was only some of the time while playing with others.

I haven't played Warhammer but I've watched other playing. Warhammer is cool but I'm not sure what that has to do with this or what I said though. Oh, wait it was the dwarf in space line wasn't it? I didn't say any of this stuff was original and I'm quite sure Warhammer wasn't the first to do it either.

[citation][nom]slomo4sho[/nom]This game is wilsoned![/citation]

I am typically all for neckless game directors but after Diablo 3, this worries me....

As long as it isn't that bald headed hack that ruined the Pally class in WOW, LOL!! Trying to link Warcraft and Starcraft together would be a complete and utter failure I don't think anyone except the pally killer would be that dumb. I'm sure this is all just conjecture and I wouldn't believe anything until I see it at BlizzCon.

This won't even be released until 2015 at the earliest which is pretty pathetic considering that wow has been crap for a couple years or more now. It better be amazing when it releases and not like D3 which took forever to come out and was utter garbage.

[citation][nom]Netherscourge[/nom]I was hoping they were making a 1st person MMORPG, but a Starcraft/Warcraft fusion would be pretty awesome. So long as they don't recycle they cruddy bland and boring WoW engine for it. They SERIOUSLY need to upgrade not just the graphics, but the engine features itself.[/citation]

How could one fuse Warcraft and Starcraft? I could understand making an MMO version of Starcraft, but combining Warcraft and Startcraft lore in a single game just gives me a brain fart.

Blizzards goal with WoW is cartoonly. You can't judge graphics simply on the art system. Look at the hi rez rendering and draw distance. Warcraft has always been cartoony and will always be cartoony. Warcraft 1 was, warcraft 2 was, Warcraft 3 was hella cartoony and World of Warcraft extends their art style.

After playing many other MMOs and ill compare Guild Wars 2 to this. World of Warcraft as of 5.2 has a better npc and world draw distance than GW2. But draw distance means alot to me and I Hate fog with a Capital "H". Mist of Pandaria may of been a plot let down but the improvements in the engine has been wonderful.

Whenever Blizzard finally wants to come out with Destiny at e3 holding hands with Bungie you guys own me 1.

And all you World of Starcraft people! They can't even finish the 3 games in a timely manner nevertheless a MMO

again

TITAN = Bungie, Blizzard hands holding Destiny
