[citation][nom]kriswitak[/nom]May I please have Diablo III now? WoW players have their game, now I want mine.[/citation]
Then 20 years later they might give us Diablo IV

unfortunately D3 will not be out in 2011 at all. Lets not get our hopes up, afterall, the sequel 'expansion' to a whole functional and already made game of SC2 (featuring playable races of all 3 sides too) won't be out in 2011 either.

I'm still standing with my initial 2014 release date for D3, as painful as it sounds. Also, the botox like glossy Hunter Vid, was not impressive, at all. That was a whipped up video, offering only last minute concept like animation, totally unlike the quality we had 10 years ago, from low res D2.

[citation][nom]NuclearShadow[/nom]Well about the Starcraft II "expansions" It's already been explained by Blizzard that they won't really be expansions but stand-alone games. The only real difference will be the single player campaign. Since Blizzard also made it clear that the multi-player will be linked through the 3 titles its unlikely that any new units will be introduced due to this fact. Just wanted to clear that up.[/citation]
I would just like to say that you are very wrong, and you make up facts to make your post sound more interesting and relevant.
Just think for a minute. How many extra units do the Terrans have in the single player that aren't used in the multiplayer? Now how about the other 2 races? Do you think that maybe..POSSIBLY they are going to introduce the 4th race being the hybrids as they are obviously going to be the biggest part of the storyline? How about new multiplayer maps when the expansions come out?
Yer dumb. Here's your sign.

"StarCraft 2 fans were tossed a bone, but one without much meat on it. No details on the StarCraft 2 expansion, but Blizzard does plan to release four new maps to Battle.net in the coming months."

That's agreeably bad news, but not for that reason. If the writer doesn't know, or any of you for that matter, starcraft 2 is still being balanced. And they're doing a horrible job.

Think about adding a 4th race, and imagine the sc2 proscene crumble.

btw stingstang, nuclearshadow's right. I don't think we need to start citing sources as commonplace as his.

[citation][nom]linford585[/nom]Possible, yes, however I'm not so inclined to agree with you there... Yes, I am not a fan of the Activision/Blizzard merger, and I do feel Activision is pretty much just there for the money - but I still think they will let Blizzard do what they do best - make that money.Lots of products faster doesn't always mean more money.[/citation]
i agree with you for a few reasons, one i doubt activision will do anything to blizzard because one vivindi has owned blizzard for years and still does, and it was less of a merger between the two than it was vivindi bought activision.

err sting stan your wrong about the units tho, those were sc1 units in the campaign. they will release new units in time but most likely not those...

It can't just be me. Does anyone else hate the stupid low-polygon WOW look? What the hell happened to bitmapped textures? Diablo II graphics look so much better IMHO. I, for one, absolutely cannot stand the polygonal look, sorry. I'm sure Diablo III will still be an awesome game as far as gameplay, but if they do the same retardedness with this as they did with Starcraft II, by removing LAN play, I will be pretty upset. Also, if they make it a requirement to be constantly connected to the internet to play single-player campaigns, I will probably not end up buying this game.

If you are waiting for D3, go get Torchlight. Sure, it's single player only, but being made by the actual people who made D1 and D2, it's really good. Not to mention it's only $20us. You can download the 2 hour trial for free.

Just how much do they charge these suckers to play WOW now? Do you need the original, Burning Crusade and WOTLK plus the latest Cataclysm? If so that is a big ask for a new player, and how long to install the thing and upgrade it? Then there is the subscription. It must add up to a small fortune over a two year period.

Would love to see someone effectively using dual crossbows in real life I mean that just sounds stupid have fun aiming or reloading trying to do that it's not like a pistol with multiple shots with a easy to reload clip.

[citation][nom]NuclearShadow[/nom]People break bones everywhere all the time. It's irrelevant and not worth mentioning.[/citation]

Awesome, probably from playing too much WoW which caused his legs to become atrophic and snapping like twigs under the sudden payload of his mountain dew belly bouncing up and down.

it's funny because it's so true.

p.s did no one mention his leg being that of Wirt?

[citation][nom]linford585[/nom]Or when a company doesn't come out with a game until they think it is perfect.Heard of "Valve time?"http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/Valve_TimeBlizzard works on "Blizzard time" as well .It will be done when it's done.[/citation]

Or maybe Blizzard will sell the next expansion pack once the first SC2 sales slow enough to warrant a price drop? *LOGIC*

Bliz has ALL The SC2 main campaigns made and ready to drop at a moment's notice. They'd be idiots to do anything but get the ENTIRE actual game ready to go at this point. How long was it in private Beta? How long in public Beta? And before that how long were they developing the game? Yea, they rivaled Duke-Forever in development time for this game.

[citation][nom]SuckRaven[/nom] Also, if they make it a requirement to be constantly connected to the internet to play single-player campaigns, I will probably not end up buying this game.[/citation]

If your referencing Starcraft 2 always-connected thing then try to realize:
You can play Starcraft 2 campaign ALL THE WAY THROUGH without using the internet. Only drawback is you can't attain achievements while offline. Think of it just like all steam games. Sure, you can play it without an internet connection but i'm pretty sure you can't get any achievements without a connection.

As seen by the recent bannings, they probably needed the always connected with achievements as there ARE people who will cheat to get them.

[citation][nom]montezumaa[/nom]The Demon Hunter video was made using the Starcraft 2 game engine; it was not "highly rendered". The World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Cinematic Introduction( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq4Y7ztznKc ) video is a "highly rendered" video. Check your facts before you publish your stories.Diablo will probably be out around Christmas of 2011, or the beginning of 2012.[/citation]

Ah so it's because of Diablo III that everyone thinks the world is going to end in 2012.
