Question Blue lines on laptop screen ?

Hey I have an HP ENVY x360 - 15t-dr100 and I started playing GTA V recently on it (never played a game before on it) and strangely on startup after the "Hp" logo appears there is a blank screen that appears (as it would normally be while starting up) but with blue lines that disappear after startup completes. Any ideas?

You could parse a video of what you're seeing to help corroborate your post and your experience. Are these the specs to your laptop? If so, then the laptop wasn't designed to be gamed on, rather for creative professionals who need to show their work off to clients on business meetings and their ilk, over a cup of coffee not being turned into a gaming computer. If you noticed the cooling on that convertible mobile computing device isn't designed to dump heat as efficiently as possible, rather the opposite, it tend sto trap the heat inside the chassis.
