Blue-ray player for pc

Hello, thank you before hand.
i bought a vaio labtop with blue ray player include since 2 year agos, and i never tried it weather it is work or not. now i got a movei of blue ray disk, but my labtop cant read it. the question is it is proken or some other problems?

First, check that the proper driver is installed for your blue ray player. After 2 years, you might want to find, download and install the latest driver for it.

Blue ray also have some copyright protection scheme. Make sure that the blue ray drive, the application and the movie you want to play comply to it.
