Blue screen error

yesterday when i was playing a game my PC switched off twice unexpectedly.the third time a blue screen poped up and the pc freezed.what could be the reason? is it a software corruption or any fault in the hardware.i checked the cpu temperature and it was at 39C .that looks ok to me.can some one please help me figure out what it is.Thankyou.

The blue screen Stop:0x0 info would be helpful.

Doesn't sound like your problem is the exact same as mine, but I just found a solution for my own BSOD, which I've posted here:

Hope it helps. If not, you might try some of the other things I listed in my initial post.
