Updates also not working.

you have to get the update from dell or use a 3rd party update software if you can not get a update.
windows update will not update this driver for you.

I could not locate the driver on dell driver downloads site. Either the driver isn't for Inspiron 5520R or it is for windows 8. But none suits my laptop.

the network chipset is sold to many vendors who use different names for their network adaptor.
you just need to install the wireless network adapter that dell provides, if they do not provide a windows 10 driver, then install the newest windows 8.x driver. otherwise you will have to try to find driver update software.
broadcom does not provide its drivers to endusers, only to OEMs. 3rd party driver update software will try and collect versions and might find one from another machine that is using the same chip.
