Blue screen loop

So my laptop overheated and when i tried to turn it on it kept freezing idk it's hard to remember but I left it to cool overnight and when I tried to turn it on in the morning it took me to a blue screen not the blue screen of death but a completely blue screen and whenever I pressed escape it took me to a setup screen and that didn't help so I turned it off and on and it was the exact same thing someone plz help me

try booting with the windows 8 install media and repair windows with it

if it´s overheating, clean the fan and cooler of th laptop, eventually you will have to reapply thermal paste
