[SOLVED] Blue Square appearing on boot

Hello,
I went to bed last night with my computer happy and fine. When I woke up and booted it had a wired blue Square appearing on the bottom right of the monitor. No idea where this came from.

If you mean that monitor icon, you can click on that with your mouse to bring up the sign-in box if it's not already on screen.
