Hello. I have been having problems with my 1-2 months old STRIX GTX 970. I get the blue screen code 116. I ran Furmark on the 1080p preset and it caused it to get a "Blue screen" but I do not see the bluescreen. The screen goes a certain colour and my computer restarts them I get a log after start up saying I had a bluescreen usually this:

"Problem signature:

But the strange thing is that it does it in Mount and Blade Warband, which my computer can run easily.... But it doesn't do it in say... GTA V which is way more demanding. From what I have seen a person apparently fixed it by completely removing his card and then putting it in so it say's "new hardware found" and then re-installing his drivers. Although before I try that I want to get everything ruled out.

Also I got one Bluescreen code: 1e. Is this related?

my system specs are as follow's.
I5 3570k 3.4ghz
P8h61-mx usb 3.0
Zalman z11 plus.
AX750
And STRIX GTX 970

Just done the two test's passed one originally and BSODed on a another. Then did a few things (messing with files) and it passed both but still failed Furmark.

I cant at the moment try another computer unfortunately but I will be able soon. I get try this one in someone else's and a different in mine to kill two bird's with one stone.

But thanks for suggestion's anyway.

I am going to try the driver replacements thing that some of people said it sometimes work.

Although I would prefer to know if my card, or more disturbing something else is faulty first rather than me taking the card out and putting it in, a going through the process to fix the window driver bug or issue's that I hope (touch wood) it is.

But I open to any other suggestion's.

Sorry for the late report. I remove the card and re-did the drivers. Was going fine, stress tests doing everything ok, but it bluescreen again. Although I will give some more testing, before I decide if it is the card or something else.

Anymore suggestions anyone?
