What´s the bandwith of the bluetooth comunications standard?

Version 1.2 = 1 Mbit/s
Version 2.0 + EDR = 3 Mbit/s
-> Bluetooth 3.0 + HS = 24 Mbit/s with the optional 802.11 extension (approved in 2009)

For comparison:
MP3 audio at 256 kbit/s @ 0.25 Mbps
Uncompressed CD audio @ 1,411.2 kbit/s or 1.41 Mbps
