So Bluetooth on my system just magically decided to disappear a few days ago. All of the Bluetooth services are running and set to automatic. All of Windows updates are installed there is nothing new. Bluetooth was hidden in device manager so I chose to show hidden items and I right click Bluetooth and chose to scan for Hardware changes. This froze the system. I haven't added anything new hardware wise. Any ideas on either issues?

Clicking on a defective device and doing "scan for changes" will freeze your system. I'd guess unplugging the bluetooth dongle or disabling bluetooth in BIOS (could be junk laptop, no system specs) will fix the freezing. Hidden devices in device manager are unavailable or not plugged in, like laptop docking station or usb hard drive.
