Hi all.. I was amazed when I first installed my card... no noise, no heat, insane framerates and benchmark scores, beautiful image quality.. I have completed Far Cry three times with my old 9700, and loading that on my new card was another jaw-dropping image-adventure BUT... no matter what game i play (dx8/dx9/OpenGL) whenever I come up close to a "solid" object (ie. wall, stone, tree, car, computer, etc.) the image gets real blurry and has jagged edges. From a medium distance it looks great, though. I did not have that problem with my Ati card. My friend's 5900XT does the same thing, his old 9200SE did not, my old GF2Pro I can't recall if it did. It is really p*ssing me off, since I was certain that since nVidia finally were side-by-side, performance wise, with Ati they gave up on all the "optimizations and tweaks" and delivered a true and honest image quality. That is what all the reviewers and reviews said/showed. This was the only reason I went to get an nVidia card again.. did they f*ck me over? or might it be a driver issue?
