Bookmark location in windows xp

i need to transfer my bookmarked links to my laptop from desktop.can anyone help to fibd the location of the bookmarked links

if you mean favorites thatyou set on the internet explorer or firefox, it should have a manu on the toolbar of the browser, from there you can just look at them and copy them to the new computer.

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Favorites

I.E. also has an export feature. If you are not using I.E., other browsers have exports from the favorites menu.

what exactly m asking is ,i need to export all those links.My thinking is if we are seeing some data that has to be persisted somewhere in harddisk.So all my bookmarked links has to be there somewhere.I need that place so i can just take all those and use in other computers.

that location is only for I.E., look in the bookmarks menu there is an export feature.

Go to your Bookmarks menu, select Organize Bookmarks (or manage bookmarks whichever)

when the window opens there's a menu/button at the top middle of the window that allows to export/import all bookmarks to html
